This policy explains how information is handled when you visit tatreez.ae, place an order or contact Tatreez. Order information is used to fulfil the order and provide related support; placing an order does not automatically opt you into unrelated marketing messages.
Information we handle
- Order information: name, phone number, delivery address, products, quantity, personalization choices and notes.
- Reference images or files you choose to upload for personalization.
- Email and correspondence when you contact us.
- Transaction status and reference details; customer support does not require full card information.
- Technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, browser type and error logs.
Why we use it and who receives it
We use necessary information to confirm, prepare and deliver orders, communicate about them, handle complaints and refunds, and prevent misuse. Staff and service providers receive what is needed for their tasks, such as delivery details for a courier and transaction processing by a payment provider when those services are used. We do not sell contact information or publish personalized names or customer images for promotional purposes without consent.
Storage and service providers
The store hosting and file storage use DigitalOcean, and information may be processed outside the UAE, including the current hosting infrastructure in Germany. Email, payment or delivery providers may also process information relevant to the service you use. Applicable transfer and protection requirements must be observed; you may request further information about providers handling your order data through the contact email.
Cart storage and cookies
The store keeps the cart and its options in your browser's local storage to help you complete an order. You can remove this data through browser settings, which may clear the saved cart. Disabling storage or necessary functions may affect the shopping experience.
Retention, protection and your rights
We retain information as needed to fulfil and support the order, resolve claims, and meet relevant accounting and legal obligations. Information no longer needed is reviewed for deletion or anonymization, subject to legally required retention. We use access controls and protected connections, without claiming that any system guarantees absolute security.
Contact us to request information about your data, correction, deletion, restricted use or withdrawal of previously given consent, subject to applicable rights and exceptions. We may request limited information to verify identity. If a request cannot be fully fulfilled, we explain why and the available alternatives. Do not upload sensitive information or unnecessary third-party data; children's details needed for personalization should be provided by a parent, guardian or appropriately authorized person.
